A Little Inspiration, Pottery Barn Style
Actually, it's more than Inspiration, I borrowed their Idea Truth be Told! OK, the way I look at is, I have spent enough money in that store over the last 10 years, I'm entitled to borrow an idea or two Right? Mine is on a much smaller scale but the same idea. Pottery Barn used Chalk Board tile, I used a small frame that was sitting in my Garage. Instead of Chalk Board Paint, I made it more permanent and spray painted the whole thing black. In white paint, I added words that have meaning to our Family. Actually, Eli helped me come up with words that have the most meaning to us. I knew right where I wanted to hang it, the landing on our stair case, every time you come down the stairs, it is right in front of you to hopefully Inspire and remind (mostly the kids) us what is Important. I'm Happy with how my Borrowed Idea turned out and it cost me Zip, Zero, Nothing. I Love little changes that cost nothing. Thanks Pottery Barn, I don't feel a Damn Bit of Guilt Either! P.S. Thank you so much for all the kind words on my 1,000 Post, It means so much to me. xoxo

Looks great - you did good!
so pretty! i love how personal it is to you and your family. Happy Wednesday!
Well my dear I think it's sheer brilliance...even if you did sort of "borrow" the idea! You had the good sense to make one that is personal and special to your family and that makes you one smart cookie :)
Love it!
