Is it Important to you? Not just yourself and how you look, but does the Presentation or Packaging of things pull you in? I didn't think about it too much until lately, I started thinking about Holiday wrapping for the shop. I know it's only the beginning of October, but I have to order and be prepared. I Love the Decor aspect of decorating my house but the architectural stuff, not my favorite. I Love wrapping up my Jewelry to ship out, sometimes I wish I could be a fly on the wall when the client opens it. I try to make each package Special hoping the customer feels like it is there Birthday or Christmas. Sometimes I can spend a half an hour just wrapping a Necklace. I Love to add old lace, sheet music, French textbook pages, vintage ribbon, old pieces of jewelry, my new favorite, stamping ribbon, I could go on and on! Emily told me the other day I was going to make the box prettier than the Necklace inside. I am a Recycler don't get me wrong, but I have had people send me things I've purchased in recycled cereal boxes, Kleenex boxes and it is such a turn off. Can you Imagine if I sent out a piece of jewelry in a recycled Kleenex box? Hahh! Just had me thinking, I guess I am attracted to Presentations, that must be why when we have people over for dinner, I am way more Excited about setting the table than making the food! (cooking just isn't my thing) Are you into Presentation?

I so agree with you! Presentation is everything! I always tell my husband that it's too bad I can't get paid for my presentation and wrapping talents. Yours look so beautiful!!

Yes, o yes...I save every single ribbons, laces, and buttons I receive from your packaging. Your package presentation is a work of art all by itself. Then when I open the box a beautiful surprise inside although I've already seen the picture, for the pictures do not do your jewelry justice. I think I have 9 or 10 ribbons/laces from you not to mention the buttons you surprise me with :).

You do an amazing job Jamie wrapping your packages...I know you put time and effort into them! I try to make things look nice when I send them out or add a little something here or there, but being that most of the items are breakable, sometimes it is hard to make bubble wrap look pretty! :) but I try, I do, because I am a scuker for pretty packaging!
I am ALL ABOUT the presentation!!!!!!!!! I dont care what is IN the box..I care how the BOX looks! I spend more time in the WRAPPING and DECORATING then the actual buying or preparing.
Think about it..how many times have you bought something because you liked THE PACKAGING???

Yep! I'm all about the package! I love wrapping gifts! I could do that all day. I always appreciate how much time someone takes to make a package look good. A beautiful package just takes it over the top for me.
Sometimes the pretty packaging is more fun than the gift! I love to wrap Christmas presents, it is one of my favorite things. So, I start early, in order to have enough time to devote something special to each little package! It's just fun for me :)

Yes...I get it. I think as a creative person we give a little part of ourselves with our gift. So we have to look good from the first glimpse of the gift. Obsessive in expression I think. But, we accept and move on. And besides, it's to much fun!
We are kindred spirits! I think that it is such a sign of graciousness and caring to make something pretty inside and out!

Yes! I adore presentation! I just gave a houswarming gift in a vintage basket lined on the bottom with cinnamon scented pinecones, then a vintage red and white checked cloth, shiny red apples, a big bow on the handle, an apple crisp candle in a lidded jar, a drawer liner packet and 2 pairs black wooden chop sticks with a tag I made that said " Hooray for Take-Out!" - It was a big hit and it turned out the girls kitchen was red!
