Happy Friday, another week down. I don't want to jinx myself butttttt, its cooling down a bit here in southern california, As Emily has been saying all week, "it smells like Halloween!" don't ask?! Here is what is putting a smile on my face this week in no particular order- apple crisp, watching my boy play baseball,wearing my new boots, not feeling like crap anymore, eating dinner all together, working on jewels for the shop,decorating for fall,my parents celebrating 50 years of marriage,the look on Ms. Teens face when she came home to find me chatting with a few guy friends who stopped by to see her and her friend,(God forbid I invited them in for a few minutes while they waited and I dared to talk to them too!) the look was really priceless, my husband,pumpkin spice latte, Jay-z and Alicia Keys and these most Gorgeous very old rhinestone buttons that I purchased from this Etsy shop, I can't wait to use them! The biggest smile on my face comes from all my blogging friends, I so appreciate you all stopping in and leaving comments or emailing me, you are all so thoughtful and I truly appreciate it. Great post! I have found that as I get older (notice I did not say "Old"), :-) I am more observant to my surroundings, and seem to enjoy the little things more and "they" put a smile on my face.

Yeah you're getting some cooler weather, and yeah you're not feeling like crap anymore :) Putting a smile on my face right now is...my husband who let's me have so much "me time" on the weekend (without the kids), my down comforter, that first sip of hot coffee in the morning, my warm "winter" jammies, and my children who are still smilin despite their drippy nosed colds!
